Went in to inquire on why I was charged twice in one month. They had made a mistake, but instead of correcting she said yelling in front of everyone one there that if I didn't like it I can go elsewhere, and that it would be car insurance better for them.
Still looking for settlement on approved repair. Replacement part installed is not a good part. This recycled "Crash Part" driveshaft is causing harsh vibration over 35 MPH. Vehicle was first in a State Farm full service center on 1-28-11 and as of 3-8-11 the vehicle still is inoperable with a faulty part installed. Customer wants factory balanced replacement installed.
Claim representative wants to ship this part out to have it rebalanced. Customer insurance claims 2 more weeks is not reasonable considering 4 weeks in to process already. New part cost $723 part #4R602B(driveshaft assembly) State Farm has only up till now approved $394 for bad part and wants to ship it out to have additional work done to it. (+-$200 cost not established yet.)
Customer received insurance information stating Satisfaction Guaranteed on NON OEM recycle parts not to performance or "WE'LL SEE THAT THE PARTS ARE REPAIRED OR REPLACED TO YOUR SATISFACTION - AT NO COST TO YOU".
In this situation this seems to applyClaim representative is holding firm on this decision (Leslie (269)384-2543 even though it was agreed by claims, reworking the original part 3 weeks ago was not a reasonable fix. So, now, the car insurance customer has 2 faulty driveshafts with the replacement part worse than the original.
These shaft assemblies come pre balanced from factory which proves that there is some sort of damage done to the replacement part prior to salvage.
Not acceptable to customer.
