Insurance Law, Insurance Companies

The size of the claim is based in large part on the amount available for settlement, or the policy limit. For example, say you knock down your neighbor's wooden fence, at a cost of $100 to repair. You might reasonably expect your liability insurance to pay your neighbor $100 in settlement. If, however, your liability insurance policy allows for exact replacement valued at up to $1 million,

USAA arbitrarily raised our homeowners deductible from 1% to a whopping 2% for wind & hail damage. The peril which I am most likely to suffer. What I don't understand is that it usually decreases premiums to carry a higher deductible but in this instance they raised both? We called to try to buy-up to 1% but they don't allow it anymore. We are stuck with the 2% even if we were willing to pay additionally for a lower deductible.

An uninsured driver is someone who did not have any insurance, had insurance that did not meet state-mandated minimum liability requirements, or whose insurance company denied their claim or was not financially able to pay it. From Washington, DC, the world looks like a very complex place, likely because legislators are enthralled with the delicate balance between special interest groups and their own re-election efforts. They study issues and amass piles of information, but either avoid meaningful analysis or reject it outright.Over three decades in insurance, I have seen complexity: many good companies, a few very bad ones, massive rate increases and reductions, incredible profits, and staggering losses. In the final analysis, however,

Low Cost Term Life Insurance, Insurance Policy

In my years of experience I have noticed that, when most people buy life insurance, the premiums are higher than what they expected when they filled out the application.
